Welcome back! Ready for a remix…or 3 ??
Good. Because its REMIX WEDNESDAY!
First up, we have a disco-infused trip through time from Xinobi, and his remix of Tesla Boy‘s new single, “1991“! Grooving, futuristic, with hints of classic disco, this tune is another excellent showing from a producer at the top of his game. If you like your disco with bouncing bass, smooth synths, and a touch of vocal action, look no further.

Next up, we have the ever-rising star that is Duke Dumont, and his remix of HAIM‘s “Falling“! Beautiful in arrangement and precise in execution, this building track seems to rise and fall like the tide, almost effortlessly. Elegant strings accentuate the brewing disco vibes underneath, allowing HAIM’s vocals to calmly ride alongside. Looks like it’s time to get rough…

And to finish up for today, we have Dancefloor Destruction System, also known as Plastic Plates, and his fantastic remix of Para One‘s “Every Little Thing“! Endlessly bouncing keys, intoxicating drum rhythms all blend together to form the shell, as Irfane and Teki Latex lead the way to the stars. With a chorus this catchy, some producers would take it over the edge, but Plastic Plates has found a magical balance between grooving and pulsating rhythms, and letting the vocals shine on this one. J-A-M.
