Yes! It’s Wednesday, the sun is shining, and well, as you know, its about time for some remixes…
It’s REMIX WEDNESDAY!
First up, a vibey, chilled-out edit from LA’s own, Them Jeans, and his superb take on Flight Facilities‘ “Clair De Lune”! While the original is esoteric and drawn out, this is like a brisk night ride through the city with the windows down. Bouncing yet deep in all the right places, the subtle touches make all the difference. While still maintaining the dreamlike scale of the original, Them Jeans has crafted a groove that gently wraps itself around you and carries you onward. Enjoy!

Next, we have the new remix from G Templeton, and his dancefloor-ready take on Chela‘s “Full Moon”! While I may have some bias to towards the awesomeness of G Templeton‘s tracks, this one is ready for dancefloors across the world, ASAP. Taking a few samples and mixing it with timely stabs, bouncing arpeggios and a heavy synth bass, this track glides right out of the gate and doesn’t slow down. Landing somewhere in the realm of deep house/disco/deep disco/future house, this building wonder of a track lets you know that you better have some good soles on your shoes, because you will be dancing until the morning light. Mucho bueno.

And to wrap it all up, we have the righteous dudes of Van She laying down a glitchy, techno-influenced house remix of Boys Noize‘s “Ich R U“! While laid back in nature, this track gets going with a glitchy drum beat and looped samples and only heads deeper from there. As the heavy bsss takes over, you find your self whisked away into a head-nodding, side-stepping groove, where the sampled vocals returned and the house beat rides on through. Maybe a little obtuse at first listen, this track grows on you quickly. Deep, spacey, and groovy in the right places. Jam on.
