Welcome! Welcome!

It's Friday.  And, ya know what?  That means it's time for videos.

So, the first video is part of a project that I am currently producing/directing with my company,  Open Future Media.   It is a combination live show/documentary about the band's 10 year Reunion and Reunion Show.   It's going to be really, really awesome.  To be released on 2.15.12.

Here is the first "single".  The band?  They are Better Off Dead.   The song?   "Checkered Vans".   Enjoy.

Vincent Did It - "So, You're Alive"

Until next time,

Hey friends. It's Friday. Let's party.

Oh, and GO BRONCOS!

Anyway, back to the tunes. This week, a really sweet video from Comett, a sort-of weird yet comforting video from Brothertiger, and a SUPER SPECIAL segment/promo that I am producing/directing with my company, Open Future Media. It's a documentary/live show from the 10 year reunion show of Better Off Dead. My friends played in the band, the drummer was in my band in high school, and this is a great way to sum up the scene of Orange County music in 2000-2001.* Enjoy.

Brothertiger - Lovers

Until next time,
Reid.

*I know, I know.... I already posted it. But, remember...twice is nice!

2011: The Year in Review

by Reid Horton on December 20, 2011

Well guys and gals, we made it!

This past year, I started a new garden, found a new business partner, and released the first remix I've ever made. This year has been long, joyous, tiresome, amazing, slighty underwhelming, extravagant, morally-devoid, enchanting, and about 40 other adjectives that describe alternating postive and negative connotations...

...in other words...

It was a great year.

So, in accordance with all that above, I'd like to throw my hat into the "I-Have-A-Blog-and-I'm-going-to-do-an-end-of-year-list" party. Since you can probably find more in-depth reviews elsewhere, I am going to keep it simple and to the point. Some videos, some songs, the occasional remix, and a Spotify playlist too!

Again, thanks for checking out my blog. I really do appreciate all of the views. Means a lot. Cheers!

Anyway...on the with the show!

While the end of the year is fast approaching, and most "music" blogs are making putting out their end of year lists,  I am going to stay in true "RWW" fashion...and delay it for a few more days.

Tuesday. The Year in Review.  Wild World-style.  Be Ready.

And now, some EXCELLENT music videos for a wonderful Friday afternoon.   A flashback to the 70's from Flight Facilities, a minimalist view from Juveniles, and a full on dance party rager from PNAU.   The sun is finally coming out after a cold and rainy week, and hopefully these songs will set the mood.   Enjoy.

Flight Facilities - Foreign Language

Juveniles - We Are Young

PNAU - Unite Us

Until next time,
Reid.
